This project aims to strengthen the capacity and influence the tour operator associations and members in Bhutan and Costa Rica to improve market linkages with the United States and Western Europe in a sustainable way. These market linkages will be improved by developing institutional linkages, destination marketing and by establishing a social, environmental, and economic sustainable base for the private sector.
Successful meeting Benin, Bhutan and Costa Rica
November 26, 2008 – Delegations from Benin (Africa), Bhutan (Asia) and Costa Rica met at INBio to advance in the cooperation projects established under the Program of Southern Cooperation, administered by Fundecooperación.
Both projects (“Use of Non Timber Products from the Forest” and “Information Management Systems about Biodiversity”) promote information exchange and the development of new technologies that allow all three countries to better know and sustainably use their biodiversity. Read more…
